Vaccination campaign continues at inpatient social institutions

The immunisation campaign is in full swing in Belarusian inpatient social service institutions, with approximately 76 percent of employees and 93 percent of residents vaccinated against coronavirus infection – as informed by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection

As reported, vaccination of workers who – due to their professional needs have to contact people a lot – is crucial in the fight against COVID-19.

At present, 156 inpatient facilities for the elderly and disabled operate in the country, including 92 boarding houses and 64 round-the-clock departments of territorial social service centres. About 13,000 people work there.
