Turning point for West’s world domination already here, expert asserts

The power of the West has been based on technology, finance and control over sea routes for half a century, but there is a turning point now – as noted by political expert Aleksei Dzermant

The expert noted that the power of the West is still very strong, although NATO is smaller in size and geopolitical weight than the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation.

“Their dominance has been based on technology, finance and control over the sea routes for half a century. They colonised India and China in the past, since their technologies were strong. They managed to conquer the most ancient civilisations, but there is a turning point now. Actually, the latter will not be fast. Probably, years and decades will pass, and only then it will be finally seen that the United States has weakened – being unable to bear the burden of the EU dominance,” Mr. Dzermant stressed, adding that a global world transformation could never happen within a couple of years.
