Türkiye declared its readiness to support any initiatives to settle Ukraine conflict

Türkiye will continue to make efforts to ensure the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, as well as the achievement of stable peace in the region, TASS reports

The message of the Turkish Defence Ministry reads, “Guided by the position that the war has no winners, and peace has no losers, <...> in order to ensure a ceasefire and provide a stable peace between Russia and Ukraine, we’re ready to take on a mediation mission, as well as to support any initiatives aimed at alleviation of the humanitarian crisis.”

Türkiye also said that Ankara is paying great attention to the implementation of the grain deal, which, as noted, ‘plays a vital role in overcoming the global food crisis’.
