Stoltenberg said NATO intends to massively increase the production of weapons

The North Atlantic Alliance is actively working on a massive increase in the production of weapons to strengthen its own defence and help Ukraine – as stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, RIA Novosti reports

Stoltenberg told the Financial Times, “NATO is working with the defence industry to replenish depleted stockpiles of weapons and ammunition, and to massively increase production – both for Ukraine and for our own defence.”

According to Stoltenberg, assistance to Ukraine will be carried out ‘for as long as necessary’, the alliance intends to support Ukraine ‘for the sake of its future and for its own’.
