State Duma speaker: Kiev’s regime is guiding Ukraine to disappearance
The Kiev authorities are leading Ukraine to its complete disappearance, since 2014 the country has lost at least half of its population, TASS quotes the speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin as saying
Mr. Volodin noted that ordinary Ukrainian citizens are nothing but expendable for Kiev's Western allies. “Since 2014, Ukraine has lost 53.7 percent of its population, and its citizens are expendable for Washington and Brussels: the war to the last Ukrainian takes hundreds of people's lives every day. The Kiev regime is guiding Ukraine to its complete disappearance” he said.
The politician added that, since 2014, at least 10.5m people have fled Ukraine, another 11.2m residents of Sevastopol, Crimea, the LPR, the DPR, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions ‘have made their choice to stay with Russia’.
Mr. Volodin shared his opinion that, after the coup in 2014, Ukraine lost its sovereignty and became a colony of the United States. “The country has been plundered, and its industrial potential has been lost. Total corruption reigns, while people’s interests are not taken into account," he stressed.
