State Duma deputy named countries whose mercenaries fight on AFU side in special military operation zone

French, German, Polish, Bulgarian and Czech units are fighting in the Kupyansk direction and in the area of Zaporozhye in the special military operation zone – as informed by a co-ordinator for interparliamentary relations with the Lugansk People’s Republic Parliament, State Duma deputy Viktor Vodolatsky, RIA Novosti reports

“French, German and Polish units, as well as, unfortunately, Bulgarians and Czechs, are active participants in Nazi Ukraine today, and they help preserve this Ukrofascist ideology. Naturally, they are stationed there at present: one part in the Kupyansk direction, and the other – in the area of Zaporozhye,” Mr. Vodolatsky said, adding that snipers and instructors from these countries act on the line of contact, and Russian forces destruct them regularly.

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service Director, Sergei Naryshkin, has recently stated that France is preparing a military contingent to be sent to Ukraine; according to initial data, it unites about 2,000 troops.

At the end of February, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that Paris would do everything so that Russia ‘would not win this war’. He said that the leaders of Western countries had discussed the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, but failed to reach a consensus so far.

Later, the French leader – who was criticised for his statements by NATO allies and citizens of France – said that all his words had been carefully considered. During his meeting with opposition leaders in early March, Mr. Macron again said that France ‘had no limits and no red lines’ on the issue of assistance to the Kiev regime.

Commenting on the statements of the French President about sending troops to Ukraine, the Kremlin stressed that such a development of events would inevitably cause a direct military clash between Russia and NATO.
