Slovakia to triple ammunition production in 2024

According to the TASR news agency, Slovakia plans to increase its ammunition production three-fold in 2024, TASS reports with reference to Defence Minister Martin Sklenar

The Slovakian Defence Minister said, “The country plans to triple the production of ammunition next year. The goal of the republic and its foreign partners is to provide the most targeted assistance to Ukraine in its counteroffensive.”

It is also reported that the Slovak Armed Forces plan to conduct exercises of Ukrainian servicemen to clear minefields in territories temporarily not under Kiev's control.
