Singapore, China plan to introduce mutual 30-day visa-free entry
Singapore and China will conclude an agreement on mutual visa exemption for 30 days – as stated by Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Reuters reports
According to Mr. Wong, who is also Singapore's Finance Minister, personnel exchanges between the two sides were increasing, with flights between both countries recovering to close to pre-pandemic levels.
The 30-day mutual visa exemption arrangement will also support progress, which can facilitate greater personnel exchanges and strengthen the cornerstone of bilateral relations.
Earlier this year, China resumed 15-day visa-free entry for Singapore citizens, more than three years after such visas were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
