Since early 2023, 411,000+ EU residents visited Belarus without visas

Since January 1st, 2023, 411,360 residents of the EU member states have taken advantage of the Belarusian visa-free visa – as reported by the State Border Committee of Belarus in its Telegram channel

Thus, 244,633 citizens of Lithuania, 95,702 citizens and 28,991 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 42,034 citizens of Poland took advantage of the opportunity to visit Belarus without obtaining visa documents.

In total, since the beginning of the visa-free regime, 796,346 foreigners have travelled to Belarus: 492,896 citizens of Lithuania, 183,836 citizens and 55,870 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 63,744 citizens of Poland.

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, previously supported the Foreign Ministry’s proposal to extend visa-free regime for residents of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland for 2024.
