Russian Defence Ministry: Ukrainian army plans to shell Russia’s territory with American missiles
Ukrainians plan to attack the border territories of Russia with long-range missiles which are expected to be delivered from the United States – as informed by the Head of the Russian National Defence Control Centre, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, TASS reports
As reported by Mr. Mizintsev, the Russian military have intercepted radio conversations to learn that ‘the Kiev regime is planning to carry out another inhuman provocation in the city of Shostka, Sumy Region’.
“In the near future, long–range missile systems are expected to be delivered to Shostka from the United States. These weapons are planned to be used by militants of the armed formations of Ukraine – following an order of the Security Service of Ukraine – to attack the border territory of the Russian Federation directly from the city’s residential districts,” the Colonel-General said.
Mr. Mizintsev added that the Ukrainian side expects ‘to provoke the Russian Armed Forces to return fire, and then to accuse them of indiscriminate strikes on civilian infrastructure facilities and destruction of the Ukrainian civilian population’ by doing this.
He noted that the Ukrainian side plans to involve journalists (local and foreign) to prepare fake photos and videos ‘about the alleged killings of civilians by the Russian military, which will be widely distributed by Western news agencies’.
