Polish security forces fired at Belarusian checkpoint
On the night of April 10th-11th, Polish servicemen fired at Belarus’ Peschatka border checkpoint – as informed by the State Border Committee’s press service
As reported, Polish security forces also tried to blind the Belarusian border guards with strobe lights. When checking the territory, Belarus’ border patrol discovered damage to the walls of border modules and metal balls.
The State Border Committee stressed that the illegal actions of the neighbouring side had been recorded by video surveillance cameras. The Polish side has been informed on the border incident.
Poland has previously used such tactics, the State Border Committee noted. Earlier, a Belarusian border post was fired from the territory of Poland in a similar way.
