Polish farmers to start signature campaign for resignation of government

Farmers in Poland are initiating the resignation of the country’s current government – as stated by Krzysztof Hmel, a leader of the protesting farmers in the Lublin voivodeship, RIA Novosti reports

Farmers' protests continue in Poland, and among the agrarians’ demands are restrictions or a complete ban on imports of agricultural products from Ukraine, increased support for national livestock production, and so on.

"Next week we will meet in Warsaw and start collecting 100,000 signatures to support a public project on the resignation of the government," Mr. Hmel said, urging all associations of farmers and agricultural workers to support the initiative.
