Immediately after the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, a number of Polish cities introduced free public transport for Ukrainians. According to the latest data, more than 3.5 million refugees from Ukraine have arrived in Poland since February 24th.

Now, from June 1st, public transport in the Polish capital for Ukrainians will be paid, according to announcements in Warsaw trams and buses. Citizens of Ukraine can use free travel in Poznan and Lublin until the end of June.

In Polish cities of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot, the possibility of free travel on public transport was cancelled in late April.
