If the EU does not accept Budapest’s plan to finance Ukraine outside the EU budget, Hungary will have to stop the process of allocating money to Kiev – as stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, RIA Novosti reports

During a joint press conference with his Slovak counterpart Robert Fico, the Hungarian PM said that his country proposes to finance Ukraine without harm to the EU budget and without a common loan, adding that Hungary is ready to pay its share from the national budget.

“This is a proposal from Hungary. If Brussels accepts it, Ukrainians will receive assistance outside the EU budget. If it denies, unfortunately, we will be forced to halt this process,” Orban said.
