Opinion: West preparing mass consciousness for its possible penetration into Belarus

Recently, the information and psychological campaign in relation to Belarus has changed, and the West is now preparing the mass consciousness for its readiness to enter the country’s territory at a certain stage – as noted by Aleksei Avdonin, an analyst with the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies, in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel

The expert explained that the leitmotivs of the information and psychological campaign carried out by the West against Belarus have changed, “It began to change in September, when viral videos were spread featuring women in uniform training at a Polish base. Their key message was to proclaim with tears in their eyes that ‘we will liberate the Belarusian people’, that they were ladies but they were actually forced to take up arms. This topic was spread in September, but a new idea emerged in October: Belarus is occupied by the Russian Federation and its troops, so the main mission of Belarusians outside the country is to free the Belarusian people from this occupation. Actually, this agenda has been informationally promoted in the West for almost six months. The West is preparing the mass consciousness for the fact that, at some stage, it will be ready to enter the territory of Belarus.”
