Opinion: if situation in Poland gets out of control, US will definitely intervene

The results of the parliamentary elections have been summed up in Poland, revealing that there is a split in opinion in society. Sergei Klishevich, a member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, explains what is happening in the country neighbouring Belarus and what is the US role in this process.

Sergei Klishevich noted that there are sensible people in Polish society.

“This is especially true for residents of the regions bordering Belarus, who see and understand everything perfectly well. Of course, they make conclusions and political choices, which is also reflected in the polarity of opinions. Yet there is another part of the society that easily lends itself to informational and psychological influence, firmly believing in the danger allegedly emanating from our country, and in other stories that are fed to Polish society,” the deputy underlined.

Klishevich also drew attention to the American aspect in Polish politics which is big, “Poland is the main ally of the US in Europe, the main conductor of its ideas and decisions. Of course, the Americans are closely monitoring the political situation in Poland, and they will not allow it to be shaken. Warsaw carries out certain work for the United States, including in relation to Belarus. The policy that the Polish authorities are currently implementing is, naturally, dictated by the Americans. Any sensible Pole will say that this is not good for Polish society or the country’s economy,” added the expert.

However, as the deputy noted, today Poles and European society as a whole are beginning to see things clearly.

“Meanwhile, the political elite have been captured. Once you lose the reins of government of your state, you fall into the American trap, where nothing depends on the common people; elections are made in Washington. It is the US that determines how the state will develop, who it should fight with, who it should be friends with, and what fences it should build. America is in complete control of the situation in Poland. We must understand that the United States will not simply let it out of its trap. If the situation gets out of control, the US will definitely intervene. America will restore the order that it needs,” the speaker concluded.
