The leaders of Russia, China, the United States, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Turkiye, the DPRK, Pakistan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Bahrain, Vietnam, Nicaragua, Myanmar, the South African Republic, Morocco, Algeria, Jordan, Cambodia, Palestine, Sudan, and the Republic of Chad have congratulated the President and people of Belarus.
Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and Pope Leo XIV have also sent congratulatory messages.
Congratulations have also come from UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, SCO Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev, CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintayev, and CSTO Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov.
In his congratulatory message, President of Russia Vladimir Putin stressed that this holiday is of special importance not only for Belarusians, but also for Russians, since it is associated with a glorious event in common history: the liberation of Minsk from the Nazi invaders, “The bonds of fraternal friendship and mutual assistance, forged in the harsh war years, remain a reliable basis for development of allied Russian-Belarusian relations. Moscow and Minsk are fruitfully interacting in all areas, co-ordinating efforts in countering external threats and challenges."
"I am confident that, by continuing to build up multifaceted partnerships and strengthen the Union State institutions, we will be able to overcome any challenges with honour, defend our legitimate interests on the world stage and ensure a decent future for our citizens. I sincerely wish you good health and success, and I also wish well-being and prosperity to the brotherly Belarusian people,” the Russian leader’s congratulatory message reads.
President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping addressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Aleksandr Lukashenko and the friendly people of Belarus, “Under your leadership, Belarus has achieved impressive new results in various areas of state-building. China, being a true friend and a good partner, is sincerely happy with such achievements. I highly appreciate the development of Chinese-Belarusian relations of our all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership, and I am ready to make joint efforts with you to promote the development of bilateral relations at a high level and contribute to the high-quality co-operation between both sides for the benefit of the two peoples." Xi Jinping wished Aleksandr Lukashenko good health and well-being, and he also wished power and prosperity to Belarus, and happiness and peace to the Belarusian people.
The President of Belarus received a congratulatory message from US President Donald Trump. "On behalf of the United States, I congratulate the people of Belarus on the celebration of Republic Day on July 3rd. This day is dedicated to the liberation of Minsk from Nazi occupation and will forever remain a reminder of the struggle of the Belarusian people for freedom. I extend my sincere wishes for a peaceful and prosperous year to you and the people of Belarus, and I hope to meet with you in the future," the American leader's message of greetings reads.
In his message, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that Independence Day is a vivid symbol of the unity of the Belarusian people, the steadfastness of the national spirit and the country’s confident movement along the path of creation and progress. "Kazakhstan has a great respect and warmth towards the fraternal Belarusian people, their distinctive culture and rich traditions," his message of greetings reads. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished Aleksandr Lukashenko inexhaustible energy and further success in responsible government activities, and he also wished well-being and prosperity to the people of Belarus. "Under your strong and authoritative leadership, Belarus has been consistently implementing ambitious goals to build an efficient, competitive economy, increase industrial and sci-tech potential, and strengthen the state's position in the international arena. I am pleased to note the productive and mutually beneficial nature of co-operation between our countries, which is steadily strengthening in the spirit of friendship and strategic partnership. I am confident that, thanks to joint efforts, Kazakh-Belarusian relations will continue to develop dynamically, opening up new opportunities for implementing significant joint initiatives and bringing bilateral interaction to a qualitatively new level," the President of Kazakhstan stressed.
Congratulations were also sent by the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, who noted that this significant holiday is a symbol of unity and cohesion of the Belarusian people, commitment to their history and the desire for the creation and prosperity of their native country. In his congratulatory message, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that Belarus, under the leadership of Aleksandr Lukashenko, continues to confidently follow the path of progress, successfully implements the most important tasks of strengthening statehood, ensuring security, modernising the economy and improving the quality of life of its people. "The high results achieved are an obvious evidence of the effectiveness of the course you are pursuing, focused on protecting national interests and sovereignty, and creating a reliable foundation for the further development of the country," his message reads. "Uzbekistan and Belarus are traditionally linked by strong ties of friendship and co-operation. I am pleased to note the intensification of fruitful interaction in recent years, primarily in the trade and economic sphere, which opens up broad prospects for the implementation of co-operation programmes and projects in priority sectors. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stressed that relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus are characterised by a high level of mutual understanding and close interaction. He wished Aleksandr Lukashenko good health, happiness and success in his responsible government activities, also wishing well-being and prosperity to the friendly people of Belarus. "The strong traditions of friendship and mutual support between our peoples, as well as the successful implementation of agreements at the highest level, fill our interstate relations with high-quality content and contribute to strengthening bilateral co-operation across the entire spectrum of areas. I am convinced that, through joint efforts, the multifaceted co-operation and strategic partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus will continue to steadily expand and deepen for the benefit of our friendly peoples and countries," the Azerbaijani leader’s congratulatory message reads.
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday to Aleksandr Lukashenko and the friendly Belarusian people, “We sincerely rejoice at the significant successes of our Belarusian partners in the socio-economic development and improving the welfare of the people, as well as the growing authority of Belarus on the world stage. We attach great importance to strengthening and developing meaningful bilateral strategic partnership relations. Relations between our countries occupy a priority place in the foreign policy course of the Republic of Tajikistan. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov noted in his congratulatory message that Belarus is confidently moving towards sustainable socio-economic development, consistently strengthening its authority in the international arena and ensuring the well-being of its citizens. He also noted the progressive development of Kyrgyz-Belarusian relations based on the traditions of friendship, mutual respect and trust, and fruitful interaction within such integration associations as the EAEU, the CIS, the CSTO, and the SCO. President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent congratulations to Belarus’ Head of State. On behalf of the Turkish people and himself, he extended his most sincere congratulations on Independence Day, “We are pleased with the stable development of Turkish-Belarusian relations based on mutual respect, trust and friendship. I believe that the existing constructive dialogue and communication between our countries contribute to peace and calmness in our region at a time when it is facing various challenges, some of which have global consequences. In his congratulatory message, President of Israel Isaac Herzog praised the historically established relations between the peoples of Belarus and Israel, "One of the manifestations of this is the large number of Israeli citizens of Belarusian origin. These people, along with the Jewish community of Belarus, have linked our two nations for generations." Isaac Herzog stressed that both regions are still facing serious challenges on the way to ensuring stability and security. SCO Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev noted in his congratulatory message that Belarusians, together with the peoples of the anti-fascist coalition, defended freedom and independence in the fiercest battles of the Second World War. At present, the country’s residents are not only honouring the memory of the victims of that war, but also moving forward with dignity along the path of the sovereign development of their state. He stated that Belarus fruitfully liaises with the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation in various fields of activity and effectively co-ordinates efforts with the organisation's member states in countering existing challenges and threats.
