Opinion: Belarus not only ensures peace on its territory, but also invests it
Belarus not only ensures peace and comfortable living conditions on its territory, but also stands for peace in other countries – as stated by Andrei Krivosheev, the Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Union of Journalists, in his talk with the ONT TV channel
“I would pay attention to the video distributed before the President's New Year greetings: in my opinion, our understanding of the peace and creation is demonstrated there. We are not simply ensuring peace in our state and society, but also investing our efforts to ensure that peace and creation are around us. The video showed the January crisis in Kazakhstan, where Belarus invested its peacekeeping efforts, and the country’s work to bring the Ukrainian situation to peace was also demonstrated. It showed Belarus’ focus on nuclear energy, biotechnology, and so on. In my opinion, the Year of Peace and Creation actually began with that video: 12-13 minutes before the start of 2023,” Mr. Krivosheev said.
“This is a powerful motivating message. A campaign has already been announced and launched to organise work in the format of the Year of Peace and Creation. Public organisations, state ideology, and educational centres are involved in the process. Each of us individually and all of us together can do everything, and this is the form of Belarusian success," he added.
