Everyone will be able to watch a parade of Olympic athletes wending their way in boats along Paris’ main artery, the Seine, from quays and bridges. Accordingly, the opening ceremony will be free and open.

Tony Estanguet, the President of the Olympic organising committee, noted that the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games will be a party like no other. “The world is invited!” he said.

The 33rd Summer Olympic Games will be held from July 26th to August 11th, 2024, in Paris.
