NOC President took part in Forest Week campaign

The President of Belarus’ National Olympic Committee, Viktor Lukashenko, together with the Sports and Tourism Minister, Sergei Kovalchuk, planted an alley on the territory of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, BelTA reports

As reported by the National Olympic Committee’s press service, the event was also attended by the University leadership and students, as well as the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Vladimir Kukharev.

The Forest Week Republican Voluntary Campaign is taking place in Belarus these days – to end on April 16^th. Earlier, representatives of the country’s sports community planted coniferous seedlings on an area of about 4 hectares in the Vileika District of the Minsk Region.
