Nobody can guarantee that coronavirus is not an American campaign, expert says
Coronavirus infection may be a US special operation, no one can guarantee the opposite, political scientist and candidate of historical sciences Vadim Yelfimov believes
In his talk with ONT TV channel, the expert explained, “Nobody can guarantee that this is not an American special operation. This may be a failure but people of the kind rarely make mistakes. Maybe this is a miscalculation, but definitely not a mistake. What is a bacteriological weapon? This is a quiet death that comes unnoticed, without any declaration of war.”
The expert added that a country – that had created the coronavirus – may even offer assistance to others to solve the problem. However, this does not mean that it is not involved in creation of a new disease.
“Not only this bacteriological weapon is illegal, but also its theoretical development. It is even prohibited to work over formulas as this is a war crime," Mr. Yelfimov said.
Last October, the World Health Organisation established a Scientific Advisory Group for Origins of Novel Pathogens. It has gathered several times, and some results and recommendations are expected to be announced in the near future. The group is investigating the origin of SARS-CoV-2.
