Nicaraguan Foreign Ministry: BRICS expansion shows that many countries are tired of United States
According to Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Moncada, the BRICS expansion shows that the whole world is already tired of American imperialism, RIA Novosti reports
Mr. Moncada said, “The expansion of BRICS at the expense of six states shows that people around the world proclaim: ‘Enough of North American imperialism! Enough of the slavery imposed by the European powers!”
According to the Foreign Minister, BRICS expansion shows that many countries want to be free, independent, sovereign and pursue their own policies for the benefit of their people.
BRICS is an alliance of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. At the Johannesburg summit in August this year, it was decided to invite Argentina, Egypt, Iran, Ethiopia, the UAE and Saudi Arabia to become full members of the organisation from January 1st, 2024.
