Netherlands to send eight F-35 fighters to Poland

Next year, the Netherlands will send eight F-35 fighter jets to Poland to participate in the North Atlantic Alliance's mission to patrol the airspace over Eastern Europe, RIA Novosti reports

A message distributed by the Netherlands’ Defence Ministry says the fighters will be sent ‘to protect the eastern flank of NATO’ and observe the airspace of the North Atlantic Alliance over Eastern Europe.

The Royal Netherlands Air Force fighters will be stationed in Poland in February-March 2023.
