The head of the Polish government recalled that recently Croatia joined the Euro zone.

“And what is happening now in Croatia? They are experiencing a price shock, facing price chaos,” said Mateusz Morawiecki, adding that prices in Croatian stores increased by 70-80 percent in one week.

Moreover, he said that after the entry of Croatia into the Euro zone, voices began to sound that Poland should choose a similar path.

“Today we clearly see and the majority of Poles clearly understand what risks this entails,” the Polish PM noted.

Mateusz Morawiecki called the introduction of the Euro currency in the current conditions ‘adding fuel to the fire’.

“Changing the currency from one to another will not work. This could lead to a sharp impoverishment of Polish society,” says Mateusz Morawiecki.
