Medvedev: more weapons and military equipment to be produced in Russia

The Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said that it would be natural for Russia to increase its production of military equipment and weapons in times when Ukraine is asking for arms from Western countries, RIA Novosti reports

On February 9th, Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke at the Council of Europe in Brussels, addressing the countries of the region with a request to send modern weapons to Ukraine as aid.

“Our enemy was begging for planes, missiles and tanks while abroad. What should we do in response? Clearly, it is natural for us in this case to increase the production of various types of weapons and military equipment, including modern tanks," Mr. Medvedev commented.
