Medvedev called UK eternal enemy of Russia
The United Kingdom has been and remains the eternal enemy of Russia – as stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, TASS reports
“The stupid officials of the Great Britain – our eternal enemy – should remember that, within the framework of generally recognised international law governing the conduct of war in modern conditions, including the Hague and Geneva Conventions with their additional protocols, their position can also be qualified as being in a state of war,” Mr. Medveded posed his social network page.
The Russian official added that the UK had actually launched an undeclared war against Russia. According to him, in such a situation, every British figure can be considered by Moscow as a legitimate military target.
Mr. Medvedev also noted that London provides military assistance to Kiev, supplies weapons and conducts training for the Ukrainian military – ‘de facto waging an undeclared war against Russia’. “In this case, any of its officials (both military and civilian, contributing to the war) can be considered as a legitimate military target," he stressed.
