Media report US and S. Korea plan to discuss nuclear weapons use against DPRK
The United States and South Korea are going to discuss the issue of using nuclear weapons against the DPRK in July 2023, RIA Novosti reports
The North Korean Central News Agency said, “In April, the United States prepared the Washington Declaration – a programme of nuclear confrontation with the DPRK. They openly plan to discuss the issue of the use of nuclear weapons against our state at a meeting of the US-South Korean Nuclear Advisory Group.”
The Washington Declaration calls for the creation of a nuclear planning group to develop options for the use of weapons against North Korea. South Korea secured a US promise to promptly deploy ‘the entire force of the alliance’, including nuclear weapons, in the event of a nuclear attack by the DPRK.
