Media: Estonia plans to purchase 200m Euros of wheeled armoured vehicles from Turkiye

Estonia is going to buy a large batch of wheeled armoured vehicles from Turkiye, and the contract will be worth 200m Euros, TASS reports with reference to the ERR portal


“The Defence Ministry will sign contracts with two Turkish companies for the supply of weapons for the 2nd infantry brigade,” the source said.

It is noted that the purchase cost will be about 200m Euros. Estonia plans to buy wheeled armoured vehicles, the specification of which is not yet disclosed. In addition, four armoured vehicles for mine clearance will be purchased.

The first batch is scheduled to arrive in Estonia in 2023-2024.
