Media and cultural workers honoured with state awards and gratitude of President

Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed a decree and an order envisaging awards to media and cultural workers, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

The Head of the Department on Coverage of the President’s Activity of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, Vladimir Matveev, the Head of the Cultural News Department of the Main Directorate of the National State TV and Radio Company, Mikhail Revutsky, a soloist of the National Academic Folk Orchestra named after I. Zhinovich, Andrei Kolosov, the Chief Director of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre, Anna Motornaya, as well as a soloist and a leading actor of this theatre, Dmitry Shabetya, were honoured with the Medal of Francysk Skaryna for their fruitful work, high professionalism, significant personal contribution to the development of national journalism and television, outstanding achievements in the field of theatrical and musical art.

Eight media workers received the President’s letters of gratitude for their significant personal contribution to the implementation of the state information policy, high professionalism, objective and comprehensive coverage of the events of the country’s socio-political and socio-cultural life.

Three employees of the Main Directorate of the Television News Agency of the National State TV and Radio Company were honoured with the President's gratitude: Head of Reporters’ Department Anastasia Benedisyuk, Deputy Head of Political Observers’ Department Ilona Krasutskaya, and Head of Editorial Department Irina Yakovleva.

In addition, the President's letters of gratitude went to the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Information Broadcasting of the Second National TV Channel JSC, Svetlana Knutova, the Director of the Morning Broadcasting Directorate of the Second National TV Channel JSC, Tatiana Rudakovskaya, the Head of the Department for Support and Development of Internet Resources of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, Natalia Yeremich, the Head of the Alfa Radio Broadcasting Department of the Belarus Segodnya Publishing House, Vadim Shepet, and the Head of the Computer Graphics Design Department of the TV Production Directorate of the Stolichnoye TV JSC, Dmitry Golovchits.
