Lukashenko signed decree on grating citizenship to another 355 people

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has signed Decree No. 378 on granting Belarusian citizenship to another 355 people, including 48 minors

Among those who have received Belarusian citizenship are immigrants from 26 countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Vietnam, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, Estonia, and others. Five sports representatives – who have arrived from Russia – will also get Belarusian passports. All of them have already shown their mettle in the Belarusian sports arenas.

In general, after the instruction of the Head of State, given by him during the Big Conversation with the President, 6,758 people have become Belarusian citizens. Of these, 3,385 foreigners were granted citizenship by the Head of State and 3,373 people acquired citizenship through registration. At the same time, Aleksandr Lukashenko decided to reject a number of applications for citizenship. Such decisions are made in relation to persons who have not worked anywhere for a long time, and who have repeatedly violated the laws of Belarus.
