Lukashenko sent greetings to Belarusian Olympians
President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to members of Belarus’ national delegation at the 24th Winter Olympic Games in Beijing – as reported by BelTA with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“A few days remain before the start of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, which the whole world is looking forward to. The dream of every athlete and coach is the pedestal of the Olympic Games, but the top is conquered only by those who work hard and strongly believe in themselves,” underlined Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The Head of State noted that the Belarusian athletes have an important and responsible task ahead of them, “It is necessary to perform at the top of your abilities and show to the whole world that Belarusians know how to win. They know how to compete beautifully, honestly and with dignity, respecting their opponents and proudly glorifying their Motherland. I believe in our team and in each of you. Remember, the whole country is supporting the Olympians and is waiting for sport achievements in the name of Belarus. May you be successful in the snowy stadiums and ice arenas of Olympic Beijing, and may your wildest dreams come true!”
The President of Belarus wished athletes good health, perseverance and good luck.
