Lukashenko said he met with members of Russian Security Council at Putin's invitation

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, said he met with members of the Russian Security Council who gathered for a session in the Kremlin on April 11th, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that he had discussed various issues with the Security Council members, “Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin] invited me to the Security Council session, and I was able to talk with all its members on various issues, including the Defence Minister, the chiefs of the Federal Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was also present. I also have good relations with the heads of parliaments. Therefore, I could discuss the issues that are topical for us. Moreover, we were able to also simply chat, which is also very important in diplomatic relations.”
