“If something suddenly happens, it is not with children that we need to start,” the Head of State stressed. “There is something to cut (in the expenditure part, in addition to the costs of supporting families and children), but we should not start with children.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced that, taking into account the demographic situation in Belarus, the support for families with children should not be reduced. Moreover, the funds saved in this way are by and large not so great to be enough to solve some other important problems.

"We have supported and will continue to support large families, and this is out of competition,” the Head of State stressed. “These are protected points.”

According to the President, it is necessary to focus on supporting families with three or more children, and this refers to payment of allowances, solution of accommodation related problems, services in education and healthcare.

“We will give the last thing we have to our children,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
