Lukashenko met with Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has met with the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, during his official visit to Tehran, BelTA reports

On March 13th, Aleksandr Lukashenko held intensive and productive talks with the Iranian leadership. In Tehran, the Belarusian leader’s visit the was called ‘a turning, starting point’ in the development of bilateral relations.

In the afternoon, Aleksandr Lukashenko held official talks with the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, in Tehran. Following them, the parties signed a roadmap for comprehensive co-operation between the countries in 2023-2026. A number of documents on the development of liaisons in various fields were also signed in the presence of the leaders of Belarus and Iran. According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, the agreements are estimated at a total of $100m.
