“Guys [authorities of Ukraine], go and sit down for negotiations,” the Belarusian Head of State urged.

He drew attention to the fact that in the current situation, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in better conditions than many other residents of this country. “He came out there in a T-shirt, something else, wearing this jacket that seems to be unwashed for a long time (one gets such an impression), greeted and shook hands with someone. They provided him with HIMARS or some Javelins – worth two hundred million US Dollars. It’s easier for him: he has enough food, accommodation, he probably doesn’t suffer without electricity [this refers to power blackout) and so on. But millions of people, Ukrainians, are suffering,” the President of Belarus said on the sidelines of the CSTO summit in Yerevan.

He also drew attention to the fact that hostilities are taking place on the territory of Ukraine, and in a year or two Ukrainian population will blame Volodymyr Zelenskyy for this, “The war, conflict is on his territory. In a year or two, the people will blame him, saying that the war is his fault. The question here is not who is right and who is wrong. Why is there a war going on in your territory?!”

“Therefore, this situation will push the leadership of Ukraine, if it is sane, to sit down at the negotiating table,” the Head of State said.
