Lukashenko: enemies will prevent repentant people from returning to the country
Discussing the topic of returning the repentant people to society at a meeting on the socio-political situation and the state of crime in the country, the President of Belarus stressed the obvious fact that our enemies would in every possible way prevent these people from returning home
“We see this. For the fugitives who trade the interests of the nation, ordinary people will always be a battering ram for the struggle against the state and a constant source of personal financial well-being,” the Head of State noted.
The President drew attention to the reaction of the unfriendly information field to his statement about the readiness to talk with those who have realised their guilt and are ready to live in their homeland, “You saw how all these Telegram channels, chats and others stirred up, saying that allegedly here the security forces grab those who tried to come, put them in jail, almost kill them. It’s absolute nonsense! Nobody grabs anyone!”
The Head of State explained the reasons for this behaviour, “Because if they are given money, it is only considering that they have a couple of thousand people there who fled with them. The West is well aware that in the future it will be able to use these people against our country. And these self-exiled opposition leaders supposedly lead these two thousand fugitives. Some money goes to headquarters. As we know for sure, these unfortunate one and a half thousand receive a cent or two at its best. Everything else ends up in the pockets of the so-called headquarters, offices, with these self-exiled opposition leaders.”
