Lukashenko commented on Trump: talking beautifully is one thing, doing is another

“Election campaign, when everyone knows how to speak beautifully, is one thing, yet solving problems is another. The machine is working in America, and no one will go against this machine,” the Head of State noted.

At the same time, Aleksandr Lukashenko added that Donald Trump looks more decisive as president.

The Head of State drew attention to the fact that the US elections are a struggle between Republicans and Democrats, so the incredible can happen in this country, “Is Biden bad for Democrats? No. He does what he is told to do; he doesn’t make decision himself. A person has already lived through a particular period, God bless him, let him live.”

At the same time, Aleksandr Lukashenko drew attention that the current situation in the US is such that Biden is already losing in the polls. He recalled how elections are held in the US, “This is done by mail, not by mail, money is paid, and ballot papers are put into the box ... It’s terrible. If we had such a procedure [the way the election campaign is conducted] they would have already started a war against us. We are saints. Our ‘dictatorship’ is holy compared to their democratic elections.”

Answering a question whether Trump would agree to come to Minsk and stop the Ukrainian conflict here, the Belarusian leader shared his opinion, “How is it to come to the ‘dictator’ and raise Lukashenko’s rating? Why did Russians and Ukrainians leave for Istanbul when they were negotiating in our country? Because the Americans said to do this... This is a game, this is politics. But Trump is more determined: he can get on a plane and fly. However, in this way, he will have – even if not in full, but at least in part – to fulfil his promises to end the war. Because he said it too clearly. We will root for him so that he comes to power and stops this NATO machine in a day: 50 states that are now at war with Russia.
