Lukashenko: Belarus ready to join implementation of plans voiced in Russian President Address
Belarus is ready to join the implementation of the plans voiced in the Address of President Vladimir Putin to the Russian Federal Assembly on February 29th – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, at today’s session on the preparations for the first meeting of the seventh Belarusian People’s Congress
In particular, the Belarusian leader noted,” We’ve agreed with the President of Russia (this is very important) that we must be included in all the programmes that he announced in his Address to the Russians. The plans – worth around 9 trillion Russian Roubles – are very interesting and realisable. He told me that he would welcome the work of the Belarusians to implement these plans with great pleasure.”
According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, there are also joint projects such as a highway from Moscow to Brest through Minsk.
“Therefore, full support in this regard. There is a lot of work ahead. And we will also have to go through our own election in 2025,” the President noted.
