Krutoi: Belarus-Primorye air route to become an element of creating common space from Brest to Vladivostok

We see a direct air route between Belarus and Russia’s Primorsky Krai as one of the elements of creating a common union space from Brest to Vladivostok, Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi told reporters

He said that the organisation of direct air traffic between Belarus and the Primorsky Krai is at a high stage of readiness.

“This topic has been discussed at the government level, we need to report to our leaders. It is clear that at the first stage this will require subsidies, support, and promotion of flights. Now Vladivostok Mayor is proactively conducting a survey among Primorye citizens regarding who is ready to fly to Belarus, for what purposes, and within what time frame. I’m looking forward to the results of this poll, but a colossal request for transport communication with Belarus has already been confirmed,” Dmitry Krutoi informed.

The Belarusian Ambassador to Russia also noted that the idea of organising a direct flight is also supported by an increase in economic contacts between Belarus and Primorye, as well as military-historical projects, such as the Memory Train, which intensify humanitarian contacts.
