Kremlin’s spokesperson: Russia, US now going to solve problems through dialogue and talk about peace, not war

The phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US leader Donald Trump signals that Moscow and Washington will now solve problems through dialogue and talk ‘about peace, not war’ – as noted by Kremlin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports

In an interview with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin, the Kremlin representative emphasised, “This is a powerful signal that now we will try to solve problems through dialogue, and now we’re going to talk about peace, not war.”

Mr. Peskov pointed out that such a position of Trump should appeal to any sane person. The Russian diplomat recalled that Russia had no dialogue with the previous US administration.
