Israeli Ambassador: ground operation in Gaza will start unexpectedly

A large-scale Israeli ground operation in the Gaza Strip will begin unexpectedly, without an announcement in advance – as stated by the Israeli Ambassador to Russia, Alexander Ben Zvi, TASS reports

While commenting on the possible timing of the start of a ground operation in Gaza, the Israeli diplomat noted that such operations should begin unexpectedly in order to create some advantage.

Alexander Ben Zvi did not answer the question whether an operation in the Gaza Strip could begin in the next week or two. "We do not have data of whether it is probable or not for sure, because this is a decision at the government level, at the level of the army leadership.”
