According to the Ctrip platform data, Chongqing is among the top 10 most popular Chinese cities among foreign tourists.
Foreigners come to Chongqing to enjoy the local cuisine, the night view of the mountain city, as well as to enjoy its unique charm, history and culture.
As reported, in Q1 2024, about 30,000 foreigners entered China through Jiangbei International Airport in Chongqing, which was six times more than in the same period of 2023. The number of Chinese residents entering and leaving through Chongqing airport reached 280 thousand, which was 3.3 times more in the same period last year.
