According to the political scientist, the main reasons for this are Germany’s refusal of Russian energy carriers and the aging of the German population.

“Germany is sliding into some kind of incomprehensible state in which it was before the unification by Chancellor Bismarck into one of the most industrialised states in Europe and worldwide. That is, what is happening now (the migration of German industry locomotives either to the North American continent or to China) was facilitated by a whole range of problems. Firstly, Germany has lost cheap Russian energy sources, which have been the core of its economic prosperity since at least the mid-1960s, and secondly, the German population is aging,” said Gregor Spitzen.

According to an independent German journalist, the German government is making no effort to stimulate the birth rate.

“Instead, it imports migrants. But the fact is that the German nation has been educated for at least the last five hundred years, so the German workers are highly skilled, they know the work processes, how to optimise their working time, they are also responsible, i.e., the German order is not an empty phrase,” said Gregor Spitzen.
