Political scientist accuses US Democrats of trying to maintain power with the help of migrants

Democrats want to change the US demographic structure, enabling them to remain in power indefinitely – as noted by political scientist and honorary president of the Centre for the National Interest (USA) Dimitri Simes in his talk with the Soloviev Live TV channel

Earlier, US senators from the Democratic and Republican parties at the international security forum in Halifax (Canada) stated that until the US Congress deals with the migration crisis on the southern border, no assistance will be provided to Ukraine. It is noted that the number of illegal crossings of the US border exceeded 2 million, with the largest number of migrants coming from Venezuela, and the number of ‘illegal crossings of the US-Mexico border reaching a record level’.

“Democrats openly admit that they want to change the US demographic structure in order to remain in power indefinitely. Today’s illegal migrants will mostly become citizens. Many of them lack the appropriate skills and education, so they are likely to be dependent on social benefits and government assistance for many years, i.e., on those things that Democrats specialise in. In turn, Republicans are focusing on creating more jobs and providing people with opportunities,” noted Dimitri Simes.

The political scientist noted that the Democrats began to face certain difficulties because of migrants.

“Democrats cannot accept more migrants from Latin America. As these people become part of American society, they begin to think much like Americans. When they see how Democrats are destroying traditional values, not respecting religion, trying to deprive parents of control over their children and transfer this control to the state, this causes opposition from a significant part of Latin American migrants,” noted the political scientist.
