Great Stone Industrial Park on 2022 results

In late 2022, the number of residents in the China-Belarus Great Stone Industrial Park reached one hundred – as noted by Deputy Head of the Park Administration Mikhail Zhigalo

Summing up the results of the last year, he stated that all the tasks set had been implemented.

“The number of residents at the end of the year amounted to one hundred. In 2022, we registered 19 new companies. At the same time, I want to note that the total investment of these companies made up about $73m. Moreover, the companies plan to provide 700 highly paid jobs. If we talk about the geography of new residents, then nine projects are projects with Chinese capital. The profile of their activities is quite wide, covering e-commerce, fine chemicals, the production of emergency firefighting equipment. That is, these are goods that are not produced on the territory of Belarus and are innovative. We also registered nine projects with capital from Belarus, and we had one more Russian-Belarusian joint project. Our fellow countrymen organise projects in such areas as the storage and processing of large amounts of data, molecular biology, and the production of individual medical implants,” he explained.

Mikhail Zhigalo added that as of today the number of residents has already reached 102, with two new companies being registered. According to him, by 2025 it is planned to reach the figure of 170 residents.
