Gaidukevich told how Poland can gain real sovereignty

If Poland wants to gain real sovereignty, the country’s authorities need to kick out the Americans and establish normal relations with Belarus and Russia – as stated by member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Oleg Gaidukevich in his talk with Alfa Radio

Earlier, the leader of the Polish Law and Justice (PiS) party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, said that independence could soon be lost and the Polish state could be destroyed. Moreover, it was noted that this time the threat comes from the West rather than from the East.

“He could go on to tell the truth that Poland had practically lost its independence, with Warsaw bowing to the US. The actions of the Polish regime are fully consistent with what the US Department of State says. This is true. Another truth is that nothing has ever threatened Polish independence from the East,” underlined Oleg Gaidukevich.

In this regard, the deputy noted that no matter what Poland and the West do, our President continues to talk about his readiness for a normal equal dialogue.

“The most surprising thing is that some – especially the fugitives – say that we are showing weakness. There’s no weakness at all. Quite the opposite, we’re demonstrating strength. Only the strong talk about negotiations. Moreover, there is wisdom and understanding that there is no escape from our neighbours. We’ll always extend our hand to ordinary Poles and Lithuanians. We give them residence permits and, for many, citizenship. Some are fleeing from there to our country. We want normal economic relations. This is in our national interests,” the deputy added.

He recalled the Head of State’s words that we won’t deviate even an inch from our national interests.

“All negotiations are conducted only on equal terms. If you say that you don’t want an equal dialogue, you set some conditions, no one will ever fulfil them; we don’t care about them. What Kaczynski said is true: the West is taking away Poland’s independence. If Poland wants real sovereignty, it needs to kick out the Americans, improve relations with Belarus and Russia, and buy electricity from us. No war on the border, no troops, everything must be taken away. We will also immediately meet them halfway, and the Poles will thank such a government and throw out the entire ‘fifth column’. Get everyone into the trunks and hand them over to us; we’ll send them all to a pre-trial detention centre, and there will be peace and tranquillity. I’m convinced that we will come to this,” concluded Oleg Gaidukevich.
