French economist: global financial crisis could hit in August
Well-known French economist Jacques Attali admitted that the global financial crisis could occur in August, RIA Novosti reports
Jacques Attali has been the head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development since 1991, and is also one of the ideologists of globalism.
“The worst-case scenario is the collapse of Deutsche Bank, followed by a crisis in the American financial system: a real crisis leading to a reduction in credit and a global recession. This will create problems with assistance provided to Ukraine,” Attali said in an interview with Russian pranksters.
According to the expert, the US should not have raised interest rates because it led to a crisis.
“But it’s already been done. There is a real danger for banks, which we are now seeing. But I think now they will stop raising. There are many problems ahead. There are serious prerequisites for a global crisis in August. The US has a huge level of global debt, and the only way to finance the budget is through an agreement between the parties in Congress. Since they are close to the elections, they cannot agree. There is a risk of deadlock. All socialists see a window for the crisis in August,” said Jacques Attali.
