Eurasian Electric Bus project to be demonstrated in Sochi in early summer

This was stated by Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Nazaruk in an interview with the sb.by portal

“The Eurasian Electric Bus project is an initiative of Belarus, which gradually gained understanding in the EAEU [Eurasian Economic Union]. In June, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Sochi, on the margins of which an exhibition will be held under the motto Eurasia Is Our Home. As part of it, we will demonstrate the Eurasian electric bus, where we will decompose component by component, where is the Belarusian, Russian or Armenian spare part, i.e. we will show visitors of the exhibition that we have a common co-operative product in the form of an e-bus,” he commented.

The diplomat stressed that almost everything in the project will be Eurasian.

He also expressed confidence that the product will be a success not only within the EAEU, but also beyond its borders, “Here we consider Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Iran, other countries to which this vehicle can and should be offered. This will benefit everyone.”
