EU leaders accused of seeking to create an Orwellian totalitarian world in Europe
The leaders of the European Union member states are creating in Europe the same totalitarian and ugly society as depicted in the George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984 – as noted by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, TASS reports
On his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter), the head of the Hungarian government posted a publication saying, “Brussels is creating an Orwellian world in front of our eyes. They buy and supply weapons [to Ukraine] through the European Peace Facility. They want to control the media through the Media Freedom Act. We didn’t fight the communists to end up in 1984!”
The Prime Minister of Hungary is taking part in the EPC (European Political Community) meeting in the Spanish city of Granada. Today, the politician is scheduled to participate in an informal meeting of leaders of EU member states.
