It is noted that clinical trials of the Planix-B biological frameless aortic heart valve endoprosthesis produced by Plant Electronmash JSC (Belarus) are underway according to the programme and methodology of medical tests approved by the Healthcare Ministry.

The Planix-B endoprosthesis is a tricuspid frameless pericardial artificial heart valve designed for intra- or supra-annular implantation. The design of the endoprosthesis ensures its protection from mechanical wear, since only ‘tissue-tissue’ contact is possible during its operation. The polyurethane support ring is included in the cuff of the endoprosthesis, which makes it possible to take the shape of the natural valve ring and prevents corrugation and deformation of the endoprosthesis when tightening the seams. The endoprosthesis has three lines of vertical sutures.

Seven implantation operations have already been successfully performed, and the patients' condition is stable.
